Hi There!

I am currently not taking clients, as I now have a full-time consulting gig!
However, I loving making simple, affordable web pages for small business and non-profits. I make a point to understand an organization's goals in order to craft the perfect web presence. I specialize in helping companies research platforms and plug-ins to help them grow business.
When I am not building websites, I am rough-housing with my dogs or getting dirty in my garden. I am a proud veteran.

Projects

VTROC

Veterans Transition, Redeployment, and Outreach Cohort (VTROC)
Liz, the CEO of VTROC, needed a rebranding for her non-profit organization. I added and customized a new theme to her WordPress site that reflects the organization's target audience and organizational goals. I also created a new logo and branding package for VTROC. The inspiration for the logo was trail markings made of rocks or pebbles. I thought this would get at the heart of what the organization wants to do for transitioning veterans - help them on their journey from military to civilian life. It is made of "rocks" or what we can imagine as rocks to play off of "ROC". The shape is both a 'V' and an arrow.

Operation Code 2017 Benefit Page

I created and updated the 2017 Operation Code Benefit & Auction page. I updated the copy and added sponsor logos almost daily. In doing so, I managed to get fairly comfortable with a Git workflow. This was also a pretty easy intro project using React. Save the date – the 2018 Benefit Dinner & Auction will be November 9th!
